Instructions

  • Place the ingredients into the instant pot and mix well.
  • Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for an hour on the meat/stew setting.
  • Manually release pressure and place a cube of beef on a fork and if it easily falls off the fork it is ready to be shredded.
  • Drain the excess liquid from the instant pot and using meat claws shred the beef.
  • Serve.

Notes

You can use any cut of beef for shredding. But beef cubes or beef stewing steak work best.
Sometimes the instant pot strips the flavour when it cooks for a long time. If this happens add extra salt and Mexican seasoning at the end of cooking.
