Instructions

  • Chop up your chicken legs into chicken thighs and chicken drumsticks and load into either a mixing bowl or a large zip loc bag.
  • Add the Filipino barbecue marinade and mix well so that the chicken is fully coated.
  • Marinade overnight in the fridge.
  • Load the barbecue chicken into the air fryer basket and cook at 180c/360f for 20 minutes.
  • Turn and cook for a further 15 minutes at the same temperature.
  • Serve with extra barbecue marinade brushed over the skin.

Notes

You can do more chicken than 2 chicken legs. Just refill your air fryer basket when the first batch has finished cooking.
Note that our chicken thighs are large. If yours are smaller reduce the cooking time by about 5 minutes.
