Instant Pot Air Fryer Pork Belly. Combining the talents of both the instant pot and the air fryer to bring you a delicious Filipino pork belly recipe. Tender pork belly that is perfectly crispy and best of all only needs 2 ingredients!
Load pork belly strips and BBQ marinade into the instant pot pressure cooker and make sure the BBQ marinade has a good layer on the pork belly.
Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for 20 minutes on manual/pressure cook.
Manually release pressure and when the pork belly is slightly cool, remove from the instant pot.
Dab the pork belly dry with kitchen towel and then on a chopping board, slice the pork belly into bite size pieces.
Load into the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes at 200c/400f.
Serve.
Notes
We made Filipino pork belly, but you can mix and match. Swap the Filipino BBQ marinade for Korean, Chinese or even Thai.I have tried pork belly just cooked in the air fryer and it is nowhere near as good. I also found that the tenderness dropped by about 20% when you air fry it, but its worth it for turning it into crispy pork belly.
