Step 1

Peel and slice your onion into strips and season with salt, pepper, and thyme.

Load into the soup maker with the butter, place on sauté and sauté for 5 minutes.

Cancel sauté, add everything but the bread and cheese into the soup maker. Set to the chunky soup setting and cook for 30 minutes.

5 minutes before the end of cooking, slice the bread and place into the air fryer with grated cheese over. Air fry for 2 minutes at 180c/360f.

When the soup maker beeps serve the onion soup with the bread over.
