Mealthy Crisplid Recipes
Today I wanted to share with you what to cook first with your new Mealthy Crisplid and give you some inspiration of how the Mealthy Crisplid works best.
Here in the Milners kitchen, we have been hard at work trying out the Mealthy Crisplid ever since we shared with you our Mealthy Crisplid Unboxing. It has that feeling that a start of a new relationship has.
It is new and exciting; you make mistakes and then you try again, and we go from love to hate and the fun of getting to know each other.
If you are new to the Mealthy Crisplid then let me tell you this:
- The Mealthy Crisplid is the best instant pot accessory you will ever own, but don’t expect it to be as good as buying a Philips XL Air Fryer, or a Power Air Fryer Oven, because it is not going to happen.
- The Mealthy Crisplid will crisp your food perfectly and will work like magic, especially if you want to melt cheese or make toast.
- The Mealthy Crisplid is perfect for casseroles. If you want to make a gratin like our Instant Pot Cauliflower Cheese, then it’s a dream come true and you can also add in a layer of breadcrumbs for the ultimate foodie feast.
- The Mealthy Crisplid saves on appliances. If you are following an Instant Pot recipe that now says “place it under the grill for 10 minutes” then the crisp lid comes in!
But beyond this and you are going to cry into your Instant Pot Pressure Cooker with frustration. Don’t expect it to make you delicious air fryer fries, because what you get in reality is an hour of cooking and testing, to realise that you or potatoes are still raw, and you could have baked them quicker in the oven!
I know many of you have messaged me to ask after frustrations EXACTLY what to cook in your Mealthy Crisplid alongside your Instant Pot Pressure Cooker and this list is EXACTLY where I recommend you start.
Forget the frustrations and second guessing this is EXACTLY what we have been cooking in our Mealthy Crisplid so far…..
