This Instant Pot garlic spaghetti is likely to be among your favourite easy pressure cooker spaghetti recipes to cook in the Instant Pot.

The spaghetti soaks but does not cook and is sautéed in a delicious garlic sauce. Plus, it has less than 5 minutes cooking time and JUST 5 ingredients.
Firstly, let me tell you in the inspiration behind this recipe for Instant Pot Garlic Spaghetti.
You see at the time of testing it and writing this delicious garlicky recipe I am sat at a campsite in the middle of the French countryside.
I can see the beautiful alps in the background and I am just an hours drive from the food capital of the world “Lyon”.
We are here for 3 nights before we slowly make our way to Spain before our 12-week camping and cooking on the road comes to an end.
Here I am approaching week 8 of 12 and I have learnt a lot about cooking compared to at home. The cooking has been done so far has been via the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker.
The Instant Pot has been a life saver, as we have been able to have the best ever food without getting stressed over how to cook it.
We we’re staying at a campsite (before our current one) in the Dijon area of France. It had a bar, a swimming pool but no shop.
I found myself on the last night with a big craving for spaghetti but only had coconut oil or coconut butter to cook with it.
This to me was a little bit too bland. I went to the bar to see what I could buy from them to add to my spaghetti. I was expecting some garlic and to buy a glass of white wine to give it a delicious flavour.
And guess what?
They had no garlic. I mean how is this possible in France???? I mean everywhere in France lives for garlic like England lives for gravy. It is just wrong. They gave me some chopped up onion and a glass of white wine and I made a delicious bowl of spaghetti for each of us.

It had just a few main ingredients including:
- Spaghetti
- Onion
- Coconut Milk
- Olive Oil
- White Wine
It was seasoned with:
- Salt & Pepper
- Oregano
And OMG I was in food heaven. I had even made it through a pasta meal without any garlic. That must be the first time ever!
This led me to realising, that some dried pasta that you have bought, paired with a few favourite Mediterranean flavours, is PERFECT for a quick meal in the Instant Pot while you are travelling, or when you are at home and just can’t be bothered to cook!
Soaked Spaghetti

I love using pre-soaked spaghetti in my recipes as it saves having to reheat the spaghetti or having to worry that you forgot about the spaghetti and over cooked it.
You simply grab your required amount of dried spaghetti and place it into a bowl of cold water. Then put it one side and then after 3 hours you have perfect spaghetti.
You could also use this method if you want to soak it in the morning before work, then when you get back home in the evening, it is ready to be warmed up and seasoned.

Instant Pot Garlic Spaghetti

In this Instant Pot Garlic spaghetti, I use the following main ingredients:
The Instant Pot Garlic Spaghetti is then seasoned with:
- Mixed Herbs
- Salt & Pepper
As the spaghetti doesn’t need cooking, all you’re doing is sautéing the ingredients in the Instant Pot and tossing the spaghetti in them. Then serving it. I always recommend a good pair of tongs for this type of cooking.

I love this in summer for a no fuss meal, but it is also excellent in winter with some garlic chicken that you have cooked in the Air Fryer.
