Welcome to how to make delicious creamy chicken dip in the soup maker.
I don’t know about you but I absolutely love crispy chicken with chips and a nice sauce or dip. In the old days, this would happen thanks to KFC. There would be their super high calorie deep fried chicken and we would have it with chips, coleslaw, mayonnaise, mini burger and probably some ice cream.
However you can make a much better version yourself for a lot less calories. But what bothers me is not the calories but the processed element in the low calorie mayonnaise that it is served with. Plus it never really seems to go with the chicken and I am always left unsatisfied. But by making a chicken sauce with the bits from your cooked chicken you can make something really special.
Even better, it only takes a few minutes to make and then you will be in food heaven. You can also save some for another day and it doesn’t just have to be served with chicken.
So lets enter the world of delicious homemade chicken dip in the soup maker….
- 1 Tub Soft Cheese
- 100g Chicken (cooked and shredded)
- 25g Cheddar Cheese (grated)
- 2 Spring Onions (sliced)
- 6Tbsp Greek Yoghurt
- 1Tsp Garlic Puree
- 1Tsp Chives
- 3Tbsp Ranch Dressing
- Place all your ingredients (apart from 25g shredded chicken) in the soup maker and blend.
- Add a little water if it is too thick or a little Greek Yoghurt if it is not thick enough.
- Mix in the rest of the chicken so that you have a few nice lumps of the chicken and serve with some crispy chicken and chips.
